The school provides an extensive range of enrichment opportunities for students.
Extra-curricular activities take place throughout the year in all subject areas and a termly extra- curricular timetable is produced for students and parents.
Some extra-curricular activities allow students to compete against other schools both locally and nationally. We have an wide range of sports teams for both boys and girls including football, netball, rugby, tennis, badminton, cricket, rounders, swimming, basketball, athletics including sports hall athletics and cross country and trampolining. In addition to sports teams, students also have the opportunity to compete in Chess, Engineering, Maths, Science, English and Languages competitions.
Regular reward trips are organised for students throughout the year to reward those students who continue to work hard and show exemplary behaviour throughout the year. These trips tend to take place at the end of each term to celebrate student achievement throughout the term.
