Students in KS 3 are taught Drama in a carousel structure. Each session lasts about 6 weeks and topics covered include :

Team work, problem solving, melodrama and silent movies characterisation, study of a scripted play, improvisation, acting and mime.

Trips

Trips are organised throughout the year to watch a variety of live performances. Some of the trips have involved overnight stays in London and performance tours to Paris and Euro Disney

Clubs

There is a Key Stage 3 Drama Club and extra rehearsal sessions for GCSE students. There is also the bi-annual musical production. In 2017 this will be “Hairspray” by ???????.
