Kooth is an online mental wellbeing support service that is available to all children and young people aged 11-18. It provides support for those with emotional wellbeing and/or emerging mental health problems, many of whom will require a low level/targeted/short-term intervention. It also provides help to those who are hard to reach and do not engage with services through traditional routes. It also provides:
- Scheduled and ‘drop-in’ counselling sessions take place between midday-10pm, Monday-Friday and 6pm-10pm Saturday and Sunday; counselling also occurs 365 days a year.
- Live moderated forums will take place at various frequency the early evening, safeguarded by our media team.
- The digital platform, which is available on any web-enabled, internet connected device (including laptop, smart phone, tablet) is available 24/7, 365 days a year. This includes features such as messaging the team, static forums and magazine articles.
In response to Covid19 the age range has been expanded to include young people aged between 19-25 years old. Meaning free emotional health and wellbeing support will be available for all people in Sefton aged 11-25. Got to www.kooth.com for more details.
